Cylinder Burs can be used like a flat file. They can remove large amounts of material quickly. Large cylinder burs are useful for grinding the insides of ring shanks to increase their size.
Burs made of carbide are the longest lasting burs we sell, outlasting both tungsten vanadium burs and high-speed burs. Use them on the toughest metals including platinum, titanium and even steel, or use them instead of your regular burs for extremely long service life on normal gold alloys.
