Tips
– Recommended speed 2,000-7,000 rpm
– Always polish crosswise: in one direction (for example, left to right) and then in the other direction (top and down)
– Water is not needed on most stones, but on specific ones like Coral, Opal, Amber, etc., use water and very low speed to minimize heat
– Edges of the square edge wheels are sharp, grind/round them slightly to avoid marking stones
– Be careful with facetted stones: diamond wheels will round the facets
– Practice first with cheaper stones
– Wear a mask and eye protection
