This premium quality bench shear from Pepe features 8" tempered carbon steel blades that can be reversed to increase their cutting life.
Once bolted to your bench or work surface, this shear easily cuts mild steel (or other softer metal) sheet stock up to 1.6 mm thick and round stock up to 2.6 mm diameter.
The design of the pivot mechanism lessens the amount of force neeeded for cutting. The adjustable locking bar helps keep your material positioned for accurate cuts.
Integrated into the lower rear of the Pepe shear is a separate angle-cutting blade that is actuated by the same handle as the main blade.
The angle-cutting blade can cut 90° mild steel (or other softer metal) extrusions up to 0.5 mm thick and round stock up to 2.6 mm diameter.
Shearing length is 80-85% of blade length.
