Unlike other cutters of this type, the Pepetools unit unique design allows it to be operated from standing on the side and not on the front side of the guillotine. This has been designed in this manner simply with the thought of the safety for the operator. Once all measurements have been made, slide the material into the cutting surface and pull cutting blade handle down. Blades are designed to cut 10,000 times before sharpening may be required.
With 4" wide hardened tool steel blades, this compact guillotine shear from Pepe can cut nonferrous sheet metal up to 0.8 mm thick (20 gauge). Integrated into the back of the shear is a measuring gauge that enables you to cut consistently precise lengths of sheet stock. The table features an adjustable miter fence with markings for 0°, 15°, 30°, and 45° angles. Constructed of machined and plated steel and aluminum components. Holes are provided in the base of the shear for bolting to your work surface. The shear takes up very little room on your bench top (6.25" x 4") and weighs only 13.25 lbs.
